We can attent any sort of outside event that has a pretty good footfall of people attending. If you organise a fete, fair, market, gala, music event, fireworks display, Christmas light turn on then we could bring our game stalls.
On the Ring Toss Game customers can buy 20 red rings that they throw at the tops of green wine bottles and if they get one over the neck of the bottle then they win a prize. The Ball Toss Game gives players 10 balls to throw into the playing area. If the ball lands in a coloured hole then a prize is won depending on the colour. The plain holes allow the ball to fall through and these are losing holes.
We are available to attend events in the East Lincolnshire area but we could travel further for the right event.
This would depend on certain factors ie how many people are expected to attend, distance travelled and how long the event is on for. But we normally pay the same as what a normal trade stand stall would pay.
We have soft toys as prizes just like most fairground style games but we sometimes add other prizes into the mix. For Christmas events we like to use Christmas themed soft toys like large gingerbread men, elves and snowmen etc.
Prices vary depending on the type of event. A school fete for example could be less per play than a Christmas market etc, however this is mainly based on how much the rent for the pitch is, the higher the rent the higher the price of play. You can get better value for the visitors of your event by charging a lower price for the pitch fee.
Our game stalls can fit into a pretty small space and therefore we just require a piece of relativley flat ground approximatley 20 foot wide by 8-10 foot deep. We also need somewhere nearby to keep the van (fits behind the stall if you have another 7 foot of depth for us) so that we can restock prizes or pop them away if the weather is not good.
Our game stall trailers are fully self-sufficient and therefore we do not require any power source, the low powered LED lights run off an on-board power banks that are charged by roof mounted solar panels.
This means we have gone green and are 100% fully solar powered.
Indeed, you can view and download our risk assesments and public liability insurance from the downloads section of this website.
This is very hard to say as the Ring Toss Game is more of a game of skill and the Ball Toss more of a game of luck. Normally and the way we are designed is that 1 in 4-6 players win a Standard size Prize and 1 in 20-25 players win a Extra Large size prize on the Ring Toss Game. For the Ball Toss Game 1 in 2-3 players normally win but the size of the prize varies depending on what colour their ball lands in with more smaller prize holes than large prize holes means that more will win a smaller prize than a larger prize.
Most carnival or fairground games in the UK (like hook-a-duck, coconut shy, or ring toss) do not count as gambling because:
1. They Are Regulated as “Skill With Prize” Games
Many of these games are considered games of skill, or at least mixed skill and chance.
If skill is a genuine factor in winning (even if minor), and the prize is not money or money’s worth, it's not gambling.
2. Prizes Are Not Money or Equivalent
Prizes are usually toys or novelty items, not cash or things easily convertible into cash.
UK law distinguishes between gambling and amusement games with prizes (AWPs), which have separate regulation.
3. They May Be Covered Under the “Prize Gaming” or “Amusement” Exemptions
Small-scale prize gaming (e.g., fairground games) often does not require a gambling licence if:
The organiser complies with specific conditions under the Gambling Act 2005 (Schedule 7).
The prize value is limited.
The outcome is not entirely chance-based.
